Have the Best Wrinkle Cure and Antiaging Skin Care

by Jen P. April

I don't know a thing about you but I'll bet you're looking for a wrinkle cure and antiaging skin care regimen that works. There are so many products out there that claim to prevent wrinkles but I'll bet you haven't found the product you're happy with yet.

I'm going to share a little secret with you. While nothing is going to "cure" wrinkles, there are ingredients you can look for to make your antiaging skin care slow down the process of aging.

Take wakame for example, a staple in the Japanese diet for it's taste and health benefits, wakame is an extract from a Japanese seaweed that inhibits an enzyme called hyaluronidase. This enzyme breaks down hyaluronic acid which combines with collagen and elastin to keep your skin looking smooth. Without this acid, the elastin and collagen fibers become more droopy and dark circles form under your eyes.

In other words, by slowing down the loss of this particular acid, you slow down the effects of aging. As an added bonus, studies have shown wakame to be loaded with 15 times the amount of calcium as milk and to protect against UV rays.

Maybe you've tried products with collagen in your wrinkle cure and antiaging skin care procedures and not been able to tell much of a difference. If so, it's because collagen can't be applied to the skin's surface and be beneficial to preventing wrinkles. Collagen has to be created from inside the body to effective. When you're younger, your body produces plenty of collagen keeping your skin smooth and supple, but as you age, collagen production slows way down.

Can you boost your bodies' ability to make collagen? Absolutely! Ingredients like Cynergy TKā„¢contain a substance that's so similar to your body's chemical make up that your body "thinks" it is yours and so produces more collagen and another protein, elastin. Together these combat wrinkles.

The most effective ingredients are natural and safe. Things like Vitamin E, grapeseed oil, shea butter and avocado oil are tremendous sources of wrinkle prevention and moisterizers.

Good rest and nutrition are also more beneficial than you might believe in any wrinkle cure and antiaging skin care plan. Eat plenty of leafy greens and a colorful diet. Get enough sleep and drink plenty of water and you'll look refreshed and feel good. Get the right antiaging skin care product and your friends will be asking you to share your wrinkle cure secrets!

Inexpensive Home Remedies for Wrinkles

by Joseph Nyamache

It is a fact in life that sooner or later you are going to have wrinkles on your face and body, which as we all do know is a normal part of aging. Of course you can use creams, lotions, and treatments, but this can get very expensive. If you want to do something about your wrinkles instead of just watching them happen, you should try some proven home remedies that are being used by many to combat wrinkles and will help you will save money and perhaps even get better results.

Did you know you can make your very own cleansers? Simply mix the contents of three vitamin E capsules with two tablespoons of plain yogurt, one half tablespoon of lemon juice and one half tablespoon of honey. Mix it all together and apply it to your face with a cotton ball. Leave this mixture on your face for about ten minutes and rinse off. This mix can easily be stored in a bottle with a lid for future use. To make, mix up one forth cup of comfrey infusion, one forth cup of witch hazel and ten drops of patchouli essential oil.

Make a mask for your face by mixing one teaspoon each of raspberry juice, orange juice, and olive oil. Then add whipped yoke of an egg and two tablespoons of ground oatmeal. Mix this all up thoroughly. Let the mixture set for twenty minutes before using. Apply this to your face like a mask and let it dry. Once it dries wash it off with warm water.

Coconut oil or pineapple is good to use on your face also. Apply to your skin and leave on for ten or fifteen minutes. Rinse it off after the time is up. This is good to apply in the pore areas at night before going to bed. Thompson seedless grapes is a good skin care product, use the green ones. Just cut it in half and crush the juice on your face gently. Let your skin soak this up for twenty minutes then rinse with warm water. Let your skin dry naturally in the air.

Make a paste of turmeric with sugarcane juice. It has been used effectively to eliminate wrinkles and slow skin aging. Get or use a facial regularly. It has been proven to be very effective in controlling wrinkles. A facial helps you look younger. It does this by increasing blood circulation, this makes the muscles in your face get tighter. Naturally when this happens it takes the sagging out and your face looks younger.

Start from the neck and go upwards when you do a facial, ending at your forehead. Use your fingers and massage in a circular motion. This will make it go faster and massage better than using your whole hand. Pinch the skin between your thumb and fingers if you find wrinkles on your jaw.

Clean your face thoroughly with wet cotton before using any home remedies for wrinkles on your face. This will remove any makeup, dirt from the elements or anything else you have come in contact with. It will also open your skin pores so your treatments will work more effectively. Protect yourself from the sun. Wear sunglasses and a hat. Try using an umbrella to shade yourself from the suns damaging rays. This will help keep you from getting "crows feet" that form on the corners of your eyes.

Moisturisers can up skin cancer risk

Moisturisers may increase the risk of common skin cancers, according to a group of researchers.

Most of the mosturisers have never been tested for their cancer-causing effect on the skin.

But, researchers have found that they increase the carcinogenic effect of sunlight in mice.

The skin cancers involved are common in humans. Although mostly non-fatal and easily removed, deaths do occur, especially from squamous cell cancers.

These are distinct from melanoma, the less common form of skin cancer, which causes over 1,000 deaths a year in the UK but was not the subject of the research, reports the Independent.

Experiments on mice had shown that when caffeine was given orally or applied direct to the skin, it appeared to inhibit cancer.

Scientists at Rutgers University, New Jersey, planned to test caffeine as a cancer preventive in humans by adding it to a common moisturiser, Dermabase.

Before starting the study they decided to test Dermabase's carcinogenic activity.

From the analysis, the researchers found that it increased the production of tumours in mice that had previously been exposed to ultraviolet light.

Then, they tested three other common moisturisers, all of which increased the production of tumours by an average of 69 per cent.

The significance of the findings for humans has still to be established, the team reports in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology.
