4 Easy Tips for Anti Aging Skin Care

by Paolo Basauri

In the world of anti aging, most people think that is the "outside" what contributes to our aging. Whether is the sun, toxins, food we eat, or whatever, we tend to put the cause outside, and well most of it is true, but there are something that we do (or stop doing) that end up adding years to our face. Anti aging skin care starts by getting these things right and simply following four easy tips:

Stop smoking-

Smoking is interesting. Millions of people smoke everyday despite the proven fact that it damages our health. It is perfect for people who want to look elder and develop wrinkles. Besides the devastating effects it has in our lungs, breath and tooth, smoking also gives our skin a dull, yellowish complexion. There are even medical studies that suggest that smoking in the long term develop leathery and deep wrinkles in our skin. Please stop smoking.

Drink a Good Amount of Water -

But what is a "good amount"? Doctors say that is healthy to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day, however most people get it wrong and drink a lot of water at one time throughout the day. You must drink the 8 glasses at intervals to let them hydrate our skin. Our bodies work with water, so you should never restrict it or replace it with sodas or artificial drinks. A hydrated body has better resistance to the aging process.

Sleep on Your Back -

Did you know that the way you sleep helps determining the wrinkles that appear later on your face? This has a greater impact on people who sleep with their faces on the bed without moving all night. I know it is hard to determine the way you sleep but, it is attainable.

Don't do "facial exercises" -

Did someone ever advise you to do facial muscle exercises to avoid aging? Well, the truth is that doing this over and over again has nothing to do with anti aging. It can actually help you develop expression wrinkles when you get older. But hey, don't take this step as an excuse to have a stone face all day, just avoid doing those "extra exercises". As you see, anti aging skin care isn't rocket science. It deals more with common sense. Keep these tips in mind and you are on your way to a healthy aging process.

5 Ways to get Silky Smooth Clear Skin

by Abhinn Gupta

Here are 5 Tips to get Silky, Smooth and Clear skin for you. Most of them are fairly straight forward and comes from common sense but still it is important that you follow them as we have seen people just don't care about it.

1. Avoid the sun But the sun is everywhere, you might think. The sun's heat as well as its invisible ultra violet rays, cause more damage to our skin than any other element of nature. Most people spend the summers in skimpy swimsuits that barely cover their bodies.

Sun Screens and Sun blocks helps to minimize sun damage, but staying in the shade and wearing white cotton clothes helps avoid most of the sun's rays. Wrinkles are created when the skin becomes dry and loses its elasticity.

2. Eat lots of vegetables and fruits We cannot reiterate this enough times, nothing ages us more than what we put into our bodies. The processed foods that we eat daily are filled with artificial ingredients that our bodies cannot digest and they leave our skin lifeless and dull.

In contrast, a breakfast of freshly juiced combination of fruits and vegetables which are known for their anti-oxidant properties can help keep our skin glowing and supple.

3. Drink 8 glasses of water every day Eight glasses? That sounds like a lot, right? The 5000 year old Indian Health system called Ayurveda recommends that to clear our body of impurities, we must drink at least three or more glasses of lukewarm water the first thing in the morning!

And more throughout the day! People who do follow that sage advice usually have clear, smooth, amazing skin. Skin gives us the first indication of illnesses, whether it is a pale, ghostly look or gray, ashen look, our outward appearance immediately signals the condition of our health.

4. Exercise daily Sweat it out. Sweat is a combination of dirt, impurities, and other excretions that the body needs to get rid of. By sweating, our body regulates its temperature, hormones, bacterial toxins, and emotions. Most of us who do aerobic exercises know that the longer we stay on our treadmills or jogging schedules, the happier we feel.

This is because exercise stimulates endorphins or happy hormones (called the runner's high). Meditation and Yoga are also tremendously helpful to keep our emotional and physical systems running smoothly so that our body and mind are in top condition.

5. Protect and preserve your skin Starting from childhood, before the first signs of aging are visible, we have to fight the effects of nature, from the wind, the sun and other forces that wreak havoc on our skin.

How do we protect our skin from these onslaughts ? By investing in a natural moisturizer that helps protect our skin from the sun, we can reverse the effects of aging and keep ourselves beautiful forever!

Skin care - What Are Wrinkles?

by Franchis Adam

Very few people are excited about wrinkles. After all who wants to look old and ugly? In a society that's obsessed with beauty, wrinkles are perceived as unnatural or even abnormal. In an age that puts a premium on one's physical appearance, the presence of wrinkles can be irritating or annoying to some.

Though it's common knowledge that genetics, sun exposure, and a few bad habits play a great deal in how we develop wrinkles, our forefathers saw them in a different light. For them, the onset of wrinkles was not merely age-related but meant something else. For instance, early man believed that the number of vertical wrinkles in the forehead indicated the number of husbands a woman would have. Horizontal wrinkles, on the other hand, showed the number of children!

In The Encyclopedia of Superstitions, Folklore, and the Occult Sciences of the World, Cora Linn Daniels said intelligent people usually have wrinkles in the forehead that are parallel with the eyebrows. A forehead without any wrinkles, on the other hand, signifies a calm disposition, an easy life, few troubles, and excellent eyes.

Still, not everyone welcomed the prospect of developing wrinkles so early man devised ways to prevent them. In Superstitions: 10,000 You Really Need edited by William Carroll, people are discouraged from sleeping with the head raised high for this would cause wrinkles. Eating 10 or 12 dried prunes daily is another preventive measure. From the looks of it, none of these worked since modern man continues to be plagued by wrinkles.

Although science has yet to discover the fountain of youth, it has supplied us with products that come close to this dream. One that's currently making waves is Dermaxin, a cream packed with four powerful wrinkle fighters that help rebuild beautiful skin. (See http://www.dermaxin.com for details.) Department stores are awash with beauty products that come short of promising us eternal youth. While few deliver what they promise, such products remain popular owing to society's obsession with perfection.

For the few who see beyond the physical boundaries of this world, however, the thought of getting wrinkles isn't frightening. Instead these lines signify one's unique journey into life. Each wrinkle tells a story of one's experiences in this world. It is a testament to a person's character, abilities, and overall perspective. Think of wrinkles as trophies to the challenges you've faced, the goals you've reached, and the dreams you've achieved. As Amazing Kae wrote in www.43Things.Com:

"Wrinkles add character to your outward persona. They not only show you where you've been but where you're going. I think the most charming part of growing old gracefully is being able to see the progression of life and character on the face. It's like reading an antique map that leads to hidden treasure. Lines on the face give clues to one's motivations, loves, sadness, challenges, and happiness. Wrinkles and laugh lines make people interesting and I look forward to having them.

"Beauty changes over time. I envy and admire the elderly I meet, and have noticed that behind their facial lines are interesting stories. I hope to have lots of wonderful life experiences on the inside that will give me good wrinkles on the outside. Our real responsibility is to grow old gracefully. To do so is the true hallmark of beauty since each line represents another milestone along the course of a full life," she concluded.

Beauty Secret - Homemade Recipes

by Franchis Adam

Today, you have tripped over a beauty secret. This is an ancient homemade recipe for health and skin care medicine. The vinegary egg sauce has deep roots in Chinese medicine and proven to work miracles to prevent aging, treat digesting problems and exfoliate skin.

This is one of a few formulas which does not taste good. But it's been highly recommended by so many ladies in from history up till now, that it's worth a try. The formula was considered the cure for all illness and discomfort in traditional Chinese medicine. It was even said that it can make you live 10 years longer.

Though more can be said, I'll move on to the formula itself.

Ingredients:

Egg (1) - fresh and white shelled. Wash the egg as well as possible so that it's free of bacteria.

Vinegar (200g) - Chinese black vinegar! Very important to buy Chinese rice based black vinegar.

Honey or sugar

Glass container - opening has to be big enough to put in the egg. It's recommended to buy container that seals well. Boil the contain to rid of the bacteria.

Put the egg into the container and pour 200g of black vinegar into the container. Seal the contain well with tapes and store it in the fridge for 48 hours. After 48 hours, the egg should appear bigger and the egg shell should already melt into the vinegar. There's only a think layer surround the expanded egg. Break the egg and mix the whole egg with rest of the vinegar. Separate the sauce into 5-7 portion. Each day, mix one portion of the vinegary egg sauce with 3-5 times more water and some honey and sugar. Drink it with or after meal. Note: Drink no more that instructed, because to much vinegar can cause strong stomach reaction.

It's not going to taste good, or at least not likely. But hopeful it can make you look good. If it does, imagine how much money you can save if you don't have to buy all that face mask and paste them all over your body, even just for once.
