How Nature and Science Unite to Keep Skin Beautiful

by Carol Truesdale

Are you frustrated with what you see in the mirror? Has your skin lost its youthful beauty? Are you constantly hunting for the best natural skincare products? You're hardly alone in feeling this way; everyone experiences skin aging. But you may be wondering how some people seem to avoid the wrinkles and lines that are plaguing you. How do you they do it, you think, as you complement them on their skin. You think, will someone complement me on my skin someday?

By approaching skin aging scientifically, yes, you can have skin that gets complements.

This article is about scientific system skincare. You see, there actually is a science to keeping skin firm, pliable, and radiant. Many of the people with perfect skin---actresses and models---were merely born with freakishly good skin genetics. Those of us with regular genes can't be concerned with them; we have to find another way to look good.

This is where we turn to the best natural skincare. These days, natural skincare has become a large segment of the cosmetics industry. Consumers demanded skin creams without chemicals and synthetic ingredients and companies rushed to meet the new demand.

This explosion in so-called natural products has created the same "quality" problem that existed before. Companies are using the cheapest ingredients from nature without regard to their effectiveness in fighting skin aging. How that is the best natural skincare, I don't know.

As a consumer, you need to use a skin cream with, not only natural ingredients, but natural ingredients that work. But how do you know which ingredients work? What should they do? Here's where natural skincare comes together with science. Did you know there are three root causes of skin aging that the best natural skincare must target?

Here are those root causes:

The slowing down of collagen and elastin production

The decreasing level of hyaluronic acid

Free radical oxidation damage to skin cells

As you age, these three natural processes worsen, which, in turn, causes wrinkles, lines, sagging, and dark eye circles to look much worse. Let's take a look at one of these natural processes---collagen and elastin production.

Your body produces these two skin proteins all your life, but with each passing year, it produces less and less. Collagen and elastin are chiefly responsible for keeping skin firm and pliable. With a depleted supply of them, your skin loses firmness and stretchiness and you just generally look older.

Now, all skincare companies are aware of this skin ager, but few formulate products that reverse it. Instead, they try to deceive consumers with cosmetic collagen. They list it on the label, but what many people don't know is that skin cells can't absorb this type of collagen. The molecules are too large. Beware of this ingredient; it won't boost the collagen level in your skin.

So how can you boost collagen in the body?

You stimulate your body to produce more of it, that's how.

A few select natural substances can make your body ratchet up collagen and elastin production. One such ingredient is called Cynergy TK. It's an extract from New Zealand sheep wool and it contains the skin structure protein Functional Keratin. This skin protein allows skin cells to absorb Cynergy TK directly. Here are the results of clinical trials on human volunteers:

A sustained 42 percent increase in skin elasticity over 18 days.

As someone who uses a skin cream with Cynergy TK, it gives me confidence knowing the natural ingredients in it have been scientifically proven to reverse this skin ager. However, reversing collagen and elastin loss is only one of things my skin cream does. Remember, there are three root causes of skin aging. If you're interested in learning about the other two and how to fight them effectively, I encourage you to visit my website. There you can find out more about how the best natural skincare unites with science.
