Anti Aging beauty tips that might surprise you

by John Deeprose

A by-product of writing an article on miracle foods was an incredible database of information that I collected on foods and techniques that slow down and even reverse the signs of ageing.
I was stunned to find hundreds of red hot anti aging tips that quite honestly blew me away and I have decided to share a few with my female readers.

Vitamin C is the ONLY antioxidant you can use directly on your skin which is proven to prevent oxidation of tissue, keeping it young and supple. So take a vitamin C tablet (the strongest you can find) and dissolve it in half a teaspoon of boiling water. Let the water cool until it is comfortable to the touch. Add it to a small amount of eye cream and pat gently under your eyes and around your mouth. A couple of weeks should show some good results.

Tighten the skin around your eyes by applying egg white and leaving it to dry. As it dries, your skin will tighten, visibly reducing the signs of ageing.

Invest in a satin pillowcase to keep your skin smooth. Research findings have shown that some wrinkles are formed at night when you are lying on either side of your face. Slippery satin discourages the wrinkling effect.

Eliminate cracks and rough patches on your hands and feet. Apply a mashed potato mixed with a teaspoon of olive oil, and leave for 15 minutes before rinsing with cool water

Brazil nuts are rich in Selenium, a powerful anti-oxidant shown to be good for the skin.

Emu oil, discovered by aborigines thousands of years ago is considered to be one of the worlds leading moisturising products and possibly the best cosmetic ingredient in the world, check it out

You list some very good tips to help you acheive perfect skin and perfect hair. If you want your hair to look and stay healthy, you need to consider sleeping on a satin pillowcase. I had heard a lot about them a few friends and from my stylist. She told me that sleeping on a cotton pillowcase causes friction leaving you with split ends and frizzes. Those split ends then get caught in between the cotton fibers and cause breakage. Cotton is also naturally absorbent so it pulls the moisture from your hair and skin. With moisture being such an important factor in healthy hair, you don't want to use anything that will make the situation worse. The combination of dried out hair along with weakened ends causes your hair to split, frizz, breakage and then, hair loss. I switched to a satin pillowcase and I've seen a huge difference in my hair and also with my skin. I don't wake up with those pillowcase lines on my face in the morning. I found a website that has a page devoted to the benefits of sleeping on satin and they had some incredible pillowcases. I purchased a queen size set and I couldn't be happier! The company is A Touch Of Satin. Their web address is http://www.atouchofsatin.com. You might want to check out their site and read about the benefits and see what they have to offer. Well, I hope this helps you out.
